Thanks Aggie and Toto - fun to see how it pops up around the World - I dont know that name Toto -Aggie will try to get one more and see if it survives outdoor during Winther :-))))))))))
Pretty flowers. Are the plants also called heart's ease?
I like these Sissel. We sometimes call them johnny jump ups here. Good luck in keeping them going indoors. I have had some luck in mine reseeding outdoors some times. :-))
Thanks so much Neville and Marge - its funny that our indoor plants is your outdoor - I think its an easy plant - placed in light but not directly in sun all day (it drinks too much then and suddenly colapse) but I will place it around in my house and see if it can survive the Winther. Then NeXT year I will put it outside and see if it can survive all year round - its so beautiful - I hope Marge will make her Bloom :-)
Greetings Sissel. Yes, this is indeed the native Australian Viola. According to Marge, we have this type growing here along the shaded side of our home. Ours has never flowered because of this constant shadiness, but Marge recognised them from the leaves. Now that she has seen yours in full bloom, she is hoping that one day ours will bloom too. All the Best, from Nev & Marge.
