An iris of a different colour

I think I posted this one last year as well Ardy. It looked even darker then but this time the sun was shining on it. Glad you like it as well :-))

Thanks everyone. I spotted this one two days ago amidst one of my overgrown beds. My daughter took this picture yesterday. It's the only bloom but there are a couple more buds. I really like this colour as well. So different than the usual pale colours that I have around here. I've seen some deep yellow ones posted which I really like but I don't have any in that colour so this was a pleasant surprise.
