I'm so glad to hear that, Gail. :-)
I am fine with just about anything you make here Ms Wendy. Good to "see" you too~
LOLOLOL, Queen! "this fine work of art" took me many years before I finally completed it. I had it suspended from a ceiling and lay on my back while I painted the squares. And then I had to figure out how many pieces I should cut to make a puzzle, and also what shape puzzle pieces to use. I'm glad you appreciate the time it took me. Well, it sure is nice to see your face again...for the first time in ages. I thought because I was no longer making large kaleidoscope puzzles that you got fed up with me. But now I see that you're just fine with squares. ;-)
I have finished this fine work of art. Not in a respectable time, but finished it none the less. Good to work one of your puzzles again Ms Wendy. I have strayed for awhile in my "greed" too ladies. Thanks for the smiles~
Jane, you're right! Now that you mention it, that is what you said....and I just plain ol' forgot. And I see the different shades of meaning.
Im a retired editor, but I still have my chops (sometimes). I took out "deeper" before "more subtle," thinking both that "deeper" might be read as "darker," which is not what I meant, and that my comment might sound disdainful of the brighter colors, which is also not what I meant.
Jane, somehow my comment now comes before yours! You must have edited yours and then reposted it, but I see no difference at all!
Yes, Sue is already on my Favorites list. I much prefer the more subtle colors to the primary and secondary ones. I will check out tigress. Thanks for the tip. (Although I already have a huge backlog of bookmarks. I'm a slow solver but greedy!)
Jane, I'm glad you already have Sue on your list of favorites. I suggested tigress too, because I love what she does with her color choices. Ohhhh, I love every color except beige. I was very greedy too, when I used to solve puzzles. ;-)
Jane, thank you very much. If you really love colors as much as I do (which I think you do), check out tigress (Barb's) puzzles. I LOVE her color sense. And then Sue1 also creates great colored puzzles.
I love the colors you use.
