We all have a few skeletons in the family closet, Phyllis. LOL!

Ah! the Knights Templar, rumour hath it [from my mother] that my/her family has something to do with them. One of my family names is Templar, and yes it is even [still] in my generation. My ancestors were Inn Keepers and in the hospitality business, in Wales and Somerset. They started out well, but eventually ended up in some bad business I believe.

Hi, Phyllis! How are you? I do hope the winter isn't bothering you too much.

The church originally belonged to the Knights Templar but was later donated to a monastery. I haven't really seen any info on who actually built the steps though. If you want to see another view that shows the church as well, check here:

What a great view for sure, and whoever built these steps must have been very fit!

I will be working extra hours just to get the new school year started. Paperwork is always in abundance the first couple of weeks. The kids are doing well. Yesterday was the first day of preschool for one and the first day of kindergarten for one. I think it was harder on their mother because she was missing those firsts. On a good note, she is responding much better than expected to the new treatment and they think she may actually get to come home Friday after her final treatment. As long as they can get home health set up, she can do physical therapy at home. That would be a blessing if it happens. Honestly, my granddaughter has done so much of the work that I'm mostly cooking and washing clothes.

This is spectacular! I'm back on for a few jigs this evening ... I'm a little better, but still taking it slow. Plus it has been so busy, my old routines have been disrupted! I see from some comments that you'll be working a fair amount these first weeks of school, correct? And how is it going with the new ones in the household?
