Friesland, other cities, Lemmer

So you have everything in metric now. That was a whole change. But metric is more logical.

In my younger days, it was Miles, now we have Km.
We've also had our Temperature, Money and Weights and Measures all changed, about 46 years ago.

It's a lovely small city (town) special in summer it's very busy there, it's about 20 miles from me (32km). Do you have miles or km?

Thanks Elina Jan and Cathy. Yes I also used to be a good skater, but now I let it fot the young ones. I loved it. Nowadays when then canal behind my house is ice I play for skating rink sweeper. I'm glad you like the pictures girls.
Elina we gaan voor het zelfde avontuur. Ameland is ook voor mij onbekend terrein.

Leuke puzzel weer Ank

It's the same here with us, not much time to do skating. So the community (sponsored) makes a skating place on a big square in Roenne every year where people can enjoy it !! Thanks so very much Ank!
