Beautiful laurajane! Cevas is right!

Great set Laura thanks - makes me want to go there!

Wow Laura, for the whole set. I love them very much. Thanks

Your pictures are good enough to be postcards. Thanks laurajane.

Aww, thanks PLG, chickie and pumpkin. This castle is located only about 20 minutes away from where I stay when I am in Scotland, so I take everyone to it right off the bat. Most everyone is blown away by it, inside and out. A long time ago, I picked up huge acorns from the castle grounds, brought them home and grew them inside. Then when they got big enough, I planted them outside, only to have them die during the first winter. Too deep of a freeze over here!

Takes my breath away!

Wow! What a nice shot!

What a cool castle! Wonderful set -- thanks, Laura!

Glamis Castle is situated beside the village of Glamis in Angus, Scotland. It is the home of the Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and is open to the public. Glamis Castle has been the home of the Lyon family since the 14th century, though the present building dates largely from the 17th century. Glamis was the childhood home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who married King George VI, and was later known as Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Her second daughter, Princess Margaret, was born there.
The castle is protected as a category A listed building and the grounds are included on the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, the national listing of significant gardens.
BY THE is pronounced as if it were spelled Gl-ah-ms.

Excellent shot, laura! Or shoveling the driveway, pg!

That is a huge castle laurajane. Is it occupied or is it a museum?

Great shot LJ and I bet cleaning those rooms would be a task.
