Jekyll has to be experienced, it cannot be described; but, you've come as close as anyone I've seen of puutting that experience on "paper". It is so obvious you have been here many times. We've not met but we have both experienced the awe of Jekyll, dear Ann!
I will be posting more Jekyll photos under my profile "Jekyll" starting today.... :-))))
Is this a picture of Heaven on Earth, or what?! I see you couldn't wait to start photo'ing. Those who have never seen our fabulous South Atlantic beaches, with their 'sugar' sand, whispering/waving sea oats on the dunes, those comical little ghost crabs who are curious about everything, the sandpipers who seem to be afraid to get their toes wet, those raucus seagulls, & the grace and beauty of a line of pelicans skimming in undulating arcs up & down just above the waves---those folks don't know what an experience they have missed. I love them just as you, Jill, love Jekyll. So happy for you that you are Home for awhile..............
It is as inviting as it looks! The beauty is so unliike the beauty where you live. I wish you could see it, Hanne! I would love to see some of the places in your photos, my friend! There is so much to see on this planet!
Oh, I always heed signs, lol! I hope to have several photos..... I brought my camera this time...... most of the photos I've posted were made with my phone or my Tab. I love it here! So peaceful and quiet here. No city lights so we can see stars at night. No gangs or shootings here. No traffic...... not at all like back home, dear one!
