You've had your share of hot and dry this year. This looks like a paradise to many from the center of Australia.

Thank you, Chookies, this is a lovely place, we visited Port Douglas some years back, when our Daughter was working in Atherton, I should dig up some photo's of our trip.

It doesn't look too busy there, still fairly sleepy, but I believe it's much bigger than it used to be. Thanks, Janet

This is exactly what I'm trying to show you, Beekay. All our large cities are nestled around the coastline whilst the centre is dry, hot and barren. Thanks for taking an interest in this part of the world, Beekay, and it's been a pleasure taking you on a tour in the comfort of your own home-:)))

Beekay

Your country is so large and varied in climate and terrain. Desert to tropical. This photo is lovely Chookies, thanks!
