Yes it is, glad you enjoy the info Monica, thanks.
Wow! This one is quite beautiful! I love all the info that you give on these shells! Thanks so much Robbiel!
Yes this is pretty and unfortunately most of the beautiful colours are found in warm waters and mostly in the Indo-Pacific areas. Thanks.
Extraordinary colour! I wish "my" northern seas could produce something colourful like this. Thanks Robbie! :-))
Yes they are Hanne, thanks.
They are so perfectly shaped!! Thanks so very much Robbie!!
Yes Rob, but even more amazing are the Helmut animals (the shell in the other post) they eat Sea Urchins with the long black spines! Now that would be something to see! Thanks.
Such a pretty pattern - & it must be a sneaky operater to eat a Sea Urchin!! Thanks Robbie.
Hi niccolino, my friends in Yorkshire do the same thing with shells in the same room!! They worked in Bermuda years ago and went home with quite a lot, thanks. You're welcome Shirley, thanks.
Beautiful shell, Thanks, Robbie..
Another great close-up shot of a beautiful shell. I have always loved shells and have to bring one or two back with me to add to my basket in the wash room whenever we go away by the sea!
So there you are mate!!!!
Watch your language, PG - - I was a Tar Heel for some 20 years.
Glad you liked it Bizzara, thanks.Hi Carol, you are still there, right behind the big-eared fellah!! It is interesting, thanks. You're welcome PK, sure is.Yes it is GS, thanks.Actually chickie you would be surprised how many of the beautiful shells are predators and eat neat things like sand dollars! Thanks.Glad you do mate, thanks gnt.Yes can get confusing sometimes PG, thanks mate.Yes the background is nice Ardy, dad spent a lot of time initially trying to find the right background colour. Thanks.
It's especially striking against that blue. Thanks, Robbie.
Ok that explains the name since it was done in NORTH Carolina. A Scotch Bonnet is a pepper and if you even try to bite into this you will know it is not a pepper and most likely crack a tooth. Life becomes such a struggle when you live close to North Carolina.
like this one
It is so pretty even though it is a preditor. Sand Dollars? Oh no!
Wonderful colour and shape.
Very interesting ....Thanks Robbie
See I was dethroned as champion only moments later......sigh! :)))))))))))))) Fame is so fleeting.
Hi Robbie. Yeah, I am the fastest (if only for the moment). :) Interesting about it being a predator.
Beautiful color!! thank you Robbiel
