Color on the Lake

It was beautiful weather here today. A lot of Sun, but not warm!
50 F/10 C. In the middle of the week, they predict night frost.
Fine for you that the slightly cooler now!

What a lovely spot to have on your doorstep - thanks texas.

The lake is over 1,000 acres, with miles of hiking/biking trails. The cool thing is that it's in an urban area, just like Central Park in N.Y. It's 100 years old now, and was built for use as Dallas' water supply, but Dallas outgrew it, so now it's just for recreation. Thanks, Chookies, Morris and Laurajane.

Lyndee, there are no houses "on" the lake. They are all set back and there is a street between them and the lake. I live just about a block up the hill from the lake. Yes, lately, Robbie, our weather is delightful, but still a bit hot, in the high 80's, but nights are great. Thanks, Robbie, CM & Lyndee.
