They keep building their big stores with flat roofs and nothing smartens them up. Well, its for sure no snow stays on this roof long. LOL. joan454 12 May 2012 The roof pitch is designed to not hold the snow. When snow gets too heavy on a roof, the roof will collapse. The further north you are, the more you need a steep roof.
