Ank -- it's a chipmunk, which is a kind of rodent. Similar to a squirrel. Not sure if it's also classified as a marmot. I don't think so.

I love these little fellers! They're so beautiful and cute all at the same time. And we don't have them around here. At least I've never seen one. Their cousins (squirrels) are plentiful, though. Thanks.
