Thanks Ardy Lyndee Pat Hanne Sandy and Ebkrueg. I'm glad you like it. The purple dusters (lol) are Allium. Lyndee after the Parade the floats stay for a few days along the road. So everyone can admire them. After that days they are not nice anymore and they throw them away.

I thought - I have a green dust mop that looks like those purple flowers - then I thought they ARE dusters!

Nice puzzle Ank. I wonder what they do with the flowers after the parade. Seems a waste to just toss them. Maybe give thm to the hospitals or nursing homes?

The parades in the west mostly don't have a theme. They just present there flowers in a special way. They usually work in bouquet form.

Gorgeous flowers, but unless it is promoting that particular car, I'm afraid I don't understand what the theme is.
