the Jarrow March day 5 - the Wheatsheaf Harrogate Road Ripon

I'll have to have a look though the main reason for this one is that I grew up near to Jarrow and it was local history when I was at school. also it was in the year that I was born

Maybe you'll find some other walk or piece of history you can post for us all.

Me too, I will miss them when it is all over, but some days to go before that

the crowds were supportive
all along the road from
Ripon to Harrogate. the marchers
received a blessing from
the bishop of Ripon and £5
