Community Gardens

Thanks, katzmum. Yes, putting in those gardens was a good idea. The gardens demand a lot of work but they provide an interesting hobby, a chance to learn lots of new things and pretty flowers and delicious vegetables. We chat with each other and we share ideas, seeds, seedlings and produce! So they really help to build community.

I took this picture yesterday from my balcony. You can see how small our gardens are. Mine is the first one on the left with the yellow star dahlias and the beans growing up the fence.
