Yes, yarn wheels - I had visions of a little one "bonking" another on the head, LOL. Having made so many, putting the details on kept me interested.

Your cars turned out cute, Becky. Did you crochet the tires? I think the pattern used buttons, but I like the crocheted ones better. The windshield wipers, bumpers and headlights are cut additions.

This pattern has been around the internet for a while, here's the link I used (click on the word "car" above the picture for the pattern page). They're kind of made in a spiral, so no sewing up! :))
