Birdhouse in Spring

Forget it, Tex, about your hanging baskets. Remember my difficulties with the Carolina wrens? I hung a wonderful wren house less than 3' away from their favorite hanging planter---they ignore it & still 'Do It' in my big Xmas Cactus. Also, the only way I can keep them from digging up my plants looking for bugs in the planters is by putting netting around the bottom of the plants. Now, though, I 'net' everything else & I just let them nest in the cactus---and enjoy having them visit & listen to me talk to them from my porch swing only a few feet away. And peeking at their babies is a big bonus!.............
Being the bird house kind of person that I am (working on two new ones now), I really like this one. I'll bet the birds do, too. Thanks, Tex................
