Hi Ank, Yes, there are bears living in North Vancouver but I do a lot of walking and I've never seen one. And, they hibernate (sleep) in the winter so then we don't think of them at all.
Good morning Texas! I guess the French have the best expression. C'est la vie!
And good morning to you too, jcarroll. Thank you for stopping by. The palm tree is in the neighbour's yard but I think it adds to the beauty of this home.
What a beauty, thanks.
Nice picture, cevas! Somebody really takes pride in and around their home!
Well that makes me feel some better. I resent that we're in the biggest oil producing state and have to pay more than a lot of other states. But I guess that's the world we live in!
Hi Texas. Thanks for the info. In North Vancouver we are paying $1.37 (Canadian) per liter which works out to about $5.80 US per gallon. Way more than you pay!
And Gasbuddy says prices are falling in my area, too.
3.36 & 3.37. How much is it there? You can also use Gasbuddy if you want specific stations. I always look at it before I go buy gas so I can get the cheapest.
Hi Texas! How much do you pay for gas? We are doing a survey on my "Street View - 1 Oct " puzzle and so far Missouri pays the least. But jcarroll said that probably Texas pays less than Missouri. Thank you kindly.
And that's what I was talking about, Gemstone. It was sort of a private joke between me and Cevas because of that sign she posted.
Hi Texas and gemstone! There was a bear sighting sign about two blocks from this house a while ago - not the same one I photographed. But it is on a rather busy street so the traffic noises keep the bears away. Strange to feel safe because there is a lot of traffic!!
Wrong, tex. Bears are not uncommon in North Vancouver...especially when people put their garbage out too early on pick-up day or don't clean up under their fruit trees. Fortunately, the conservation officers have been tranquilizing and relocating the bears this year whereas a few years ago they were just shooting them.
At least you won't have to look out for bears! Beautiful landscaping here. Thanks.
A Swiss style house I often pass as I walk around North Vancouver.
