When I lived in Cooper City, FL (west of Ft. Lauderdale) we had a backyard lime tree that bore so many fruit it needed about a dozen props to keep the limbs from breaking off. The kids were little and we payed them a penny a piece to fill their little buckets with them.
Punkin, this year the fig tree has gone hog-wild - - more figs than it has ever produced before; I attribute this to the fact that I have been installing a drip irrigation system, and the trees that are on it so far all seem to love it unconditionally! The figs are taking their time to ripen, though.
