That caterpillar kite was enormous, Dagmar. There were several men on the beach trying to get it up but there just wasn't a strong enough wind. It was rise off the sand but collapse back down again. I see you made quick work of this one too. Thank you.
Here you managed to get a lot of details, if this one was smaller than the caterpillar kite, the caterpillar kite must have been enormous. :)))
Thanks for some short fun befor starting work. :))
Thanks, Ank. Do they really have enough land to fly kites without running into water? LOL
Jan, I thought of you when I saw this and was taking its picture. Fits in with the Octopus's on your captions today. I was hoping you would find this. Thanks, Jan. Appreciate your comments.
Thanks Pat. The area out behind my library at school was treeless. I loved it in spring when kids would make kites and fly them. They have kite flying contests in front of the Washington Monument downtown.
Love it. Here are places where they fly with big kites. It's so beautiful to see.
These monster kites always give me a thrill! This octopus is more detailed than the ones I've seen here!
Great puzzle, Ardy!
Love it. Always have love to fly kites. I think that is why when we moved here my husband wouldn't let me plant any trees in the backyard. He always said that for the kids to play.
Thanks, Hanne. These kites are really quite spectacular. There was enough wind to fly this one but not enough to put up the big caterpillar they had there. I have some other pictures of the kites but I'm not sure they will make good puzzles - the images are too small.
Oh, it's great!! Thanks for showing Ardy!!
