Why are you reporting this puzzle?

These are two yellow headed blackbirds that have been with us for over a week. They are migratory birds and usually are only around for a couple of days. These fellows have been hanging out with a flock that contains red-wing and common blackbirds and common cow bird.

They aren't as common as the red-wing. I think they winter in Mexico and their migratory path is mainly over open fields and pastures. I saw my first one about 25 years ago in Corpus, but never saw another one until we moved to the ranch. They're about the same size as the red-wing blackbird.....they are fluffed up now because of the cold wind blowing......95 in February and 55 in April....Texas weather.....

They look like they're pretty and pretty big. I've never seen these. Thanks, GGL!
