I just noticed that the date on this puzzle is Sept 12 but here we are on Pacific Time so it is 6:30 pm Sept 11.

On September 11, 2001 and for about a week after that the flag at this fire station flew at half mast. According to my friends in Ontario and Quebec the flags there were at half mast also.
