Named, no doubt, for Robert de La Salle.
Students in our town were treated to a presentation by a man who had retraced La Salle's journey, and I'm not sure which one, with a group of students. He was a teacher and did this with students one summer. When he presented, he was dressed like La Salle, and, he and the students also dressed as the voyagers had in La Salle's time, and they also used similar equipment and ate food which would have been eaten then. He was not from here but gave presentations about La Salle to other schools.
Thank you, RH. :)
Beautiful. I like the golden leaves above the rushing water. Thanks.
Thank you, Chickie. :)
A beautiful shot PLG. Thank you.
