I used to do whatever was the largest of Sue's squares, which was usually the equals ones, back before Jigidi enlarged the allowable piece-count. They were always much harder than the non-equals, but I enjoyed them a lot. But now that she post a 540 non-equal as well as the smaller equal, I'm always drawn to the bigger rather than the harder, I guess! LOL! But you're right, mine aren't really like hers in the shading--her blocks of color are much smaller, and there's rarely more than two, if even that many, exactly the same next to each other. I'm glad, actually--that makes mine seem less like a copycat style...! :-)))
Sue's squares - my favorite ones are the ones where the number of pieces match the number of squares. I know you like the 540 piece ones better. But with these squares, there's shading which make the squares very interesting to piece together. These are a whole different ballgame from Sue's.
Sorry--it was a twisted circles one, not mountains.....
OMG, that's so funny! I saw where you wrote on Sue's twisted mountain puzzle that you like them better than you do the squares, but the certainly didn't affect your ability to beat me on my squares puzzle anyway! LOL!!!
This was great. I love piecing these together. They are a style unto their own. Thanks much :)))) And look how close our times are.....
