Where once there were trains - The former Stixwould railway station
A ghostly image of a train arriving at a station long since closed. I have to be satisfied with this as these are the only two photographs of mine, containing steam locomotives, that are remotely suitable to merge together.
The locomotive photograph was 1024x768 and the other one was 2560x1960, so there quite a bit of trial and error with the size adjustment. The station shot had to be increased to the right to include the train, by increasing the canvas size.
When that was done both images were opened and the train was carefully cloned in with a reduction in density towards the rear of the train.
