That's why we got Google, Steve. The actor's name is geoffrey Bayldon (great memory, PastorMike). It was broadcasted in 1970 - 1971 and ran for two seasons. I thought it was funny too, PJ.
And Pkin: it was a British series. Not sure if it ran in the States. Even though Wikipedia says it was very popular in Australia too. Still think of him how he pronounced electricity as elektrikity :-)
