My friend Dave cooked, he has a Cajun blend of spices but very mild, goes well with delicate trout. Thanks.
Hi ebkrueg, this was a freak accident but scary. Thanks.
Interesting JB and thanks.
Will call next time Ank, thanks!
Oh, yes PKH, thanks.
We did Shirley, thanks.
Yes Celeste! Thanks.
Now THAT'S what I call fresh! Wonderful times were had by all (after the stove blowup of course!) I remember trout by the side of the river---as a child! Thanks, Robbie!
Fresh trout, liquid refreshments, fresh blueberries all under a shady tree, hello! Do you sprinkle any herbs (or what do you use) on the trout, Robbie?
Yes it is Morris, they did check it out first, right from the box, may have been a loose seal.
Sure was good PK, thanks.
Yes bookish and thankfully not many black flies or mosquitoes, thanks.
Robbie, thanks for sharing your vacation with us. Nothing like eating fresh trout. Used to do a lot of camping, but never in Cape Breton nor anywhere else in the Atlantic provinces.
Thanks for the information. I think that I will stay with what works, Very scarey, but I am sure that your friends sons learned a very valuable lesson. To always use extreme caution when lighting anything with gas. Propane is highly explosive!
Thanks Morris. My friend in the picture to the right bought a new one this summer....It blew up right here! He was so frightened because he had his two young sons with him. No-one was bending over at the time, so no injuries, could have been awful! I have a big clumsy one myself and had no problems. I've never cared for these small ones, but then it could be luck of the draw.
They took me fishing up in the Highlands. We caught our quota of trout and cooked them near the lake. There were wild blueberries on the side which we ate afterwards. Trout was delicious!
