These are lovely JC, hope you get some fruit off of them this year.
When we moved in, the fence line had been cleared. Then we noticed 2 Passion Fruit vines growing in the fence in 2005. My guess is birds must have deposited the seeds. They seem real hardy. They have survived two very dry summers and cows eating them. I hope we get some more fruit this year. According to "Missouri Wild flowers" by Edgar Denison, they are "native only in southern Missouri"!
I have always been intrigued by these. Do they grow wild where you live jc?
