I'm so sorry, Mo, about Sparkles. URIs can be very scary in cats. You just stand there and want to help but you don't know what to do. I'm glad she's getting better, albeit it slowly. I know how much you love her. I take it she's on some antibiotics? When Charlotte was so sick last month, my vet Andy gave her a shot of antibiotics that was two weeks' worth, so it was a one-time shot. Researchers say these shots of antibiotics have revolutionized veterinary care. Is she on pills?
That makes me so happy that it is helping Norton. I had similar situations with BooBoo where the inhaler stopped her bad attacks. I have been fighting an upper respiratory infection with Sparkles for a week now. Took her to the vet on Monday and got her some meds, she is gradually getting better but for awhile there it was very scary, sounded like she could hardly breath through her nose. It seemed to come on suddenly and has been the worst case I've seen of this yet. But it looks like she'll be okay soon.
Great puzzle, Mo. By the way, Norton had his worst asthma attack earlier this evening. I raced to get the inhaler, and he was fine after that. What a godsend!
