We have a snow blower too Jacki, but I can't handle it. Now that we are retired it's not so much of an issue to keep the end of the drive cleared. But Hubby always started work much earlier than I. He would clear the drive before he left but usually I would have to do the end again before I could leave because the plow would have made one or two more passes and that wall of snow was too much to get through even with a 4wheel drive truck. Same when I returned home. Also the longer the snow stayed piled at the end the firmer and heavier it became and eventually could freeze into a block of ice. That was never a good thing.

i remember that beekay. we had a looooong driveway too. we finally got a snow blower when i was a kid. but what fun it was digging tunnels and 'igloos' in those 6' snow banks the plows left behind.
What part of the world do you live in Latifas? We can get a LOT of snow. The worse to shovel is the end of the drive where the snow is very heavy and thick from the street plow. And the street plow can go by numerous times per snowfall.
