Impie

Sorry to hear about your health issues Atsutsa.
Thanks for the link.
In The Hague we have a large sport events complex where one can also do indoor skiing. I've never been on a ski and I don't think I should try it now! ☺

Atsutsa

I don't ski. My arthritis and stenosis put an end to that sadly. But I frequently wish I could. Around here the local resorts offer packaged, inexpensive school-aged children's learning days which I think is just grand. Here's a link to our closest place...http://www.sandiapeak.com/

Impie

It's going the right way Mrs._Quinn...lets hope the snow has announced the exit of winter....we welcome Spring;)

Same will be reported here Atsutsa, but not this early. Do you ski?...

Atsutsa

We here in central New Mexico are already receiving pollen reports so, here I think it's an early spring. Doesn't keep us from getting snow on occasion though and the ski resorts are having boom weather.

Mrs_Quinn_Eskimo

Impie - I think 9° C. is in the 40° - the long range weather report for Michigan is in the 50° for Saturday and Sunday - so maybe SPRING has arrived early this year!

Impie

Mrs_Quinn, you can stop trying to send us any snow, because it would melt as soon as it will arrive in my country...we have 9 °C. right now! Sun is shining, it's really nice! Thinking Spring did really help, thank you for the suggestion! ☺♥☺

Thank you nillie....I'm glad you enjoyed it, but I'm glad it's gone again! ♥

Sorry about that Marilyn. One thing we don't often experience in Holland is lack of moisture!

It's hard to imagine Pammi.....you having so much heat on Sunday and us facing a white world on the same day! I hope you can cope, I'll try and send you some cooler weather! ☺☺

Thank you Lynetteoz. Many years ago when our boys were little my hubby would've loved to imigrate to Australia "having Christmasses on the beach"☺☺, but hearing how hot it is overthere I'm glad we never made the big step!!! ;-)

Pammi

Lynettte, this has been one dreadful summer. It is actually the humidity that I find has the worst effect on me. Fortunately, today peaked at 29°C so was much better than it has been lately. ♥

Lynetteoz

What a beautiful scene Impie - very serene looking. Pammi your weather in the Sunshine Coast sounds dreadful - hope you are coping ok :-)

Pammi

Wow, Impie, you woke up to this sight yesterday (Sunday) and we woke up to the promise of searing heat which promptly arrived (the hottest Queensland day ever recorded). Where is the justice?? Wasn't it sweet of Mrs Q.E. and the furry girls to send me some lovely cold snow? Unfortunately and not surprisingly, it didn't quite make it here intact but it was very kind nonetheless. ☺☺

canoekaw

I am enjoying your white frosting pictures. I wish we had some moisture. Kansas is looking very dry right now.

nillie

It's beautiful!!
Thanks Impie.

Mrs_Quinn_Eskimo

Impie - glad you enjoyed the snow - I had a lot of trouble sending snow to Pammi - in Australia - when it arrived she open the door and a puddle ran in her door (no snow) Little Bit & Reese's keep trying to send it to all their Jigidi pals. They and the Quinns are starting to get cabin fever - and want SPRING to arrive soon ♥♥

Impie

It does Faye, doesn't it? :)

Last Wednesday we got a letter from the city counsel saying: Thursday (16th) our personal containers will be emptied the regular way for the last time and that they will also take them in on that day because as from the 16th we can use the ORAC'S (underground containers). I hope to take pictures of the actual installation and bring you up-to-date :))

So do I megabelle and the snow adds to the quiet morning look, but I can't help it....I only love the view but I don't like the white stuff if I have to go out and through it! I'm glad most of it has disappeared already!:)

Well Mrs_Quinn, I don't know whether to thank you for it or not. Weren't you mistaking? shouldn't you have sent it to Holland, Michigan??? LOL
We kept thinking SPRING all day...it really did help... most of it has melted away already. With 15°C. coming Wednesday you can send snow all you want but it won't stand a chance overhere then! LOL
hugs to Little Bit & Reese's from Goofie ♥x♥

LOL Atsutsa did the Christmas trees in the right make you say that???☺
From what you describe you're in for nasty weather! I can give you a tip: If you'll get too much snow you could try and blow some to Mrs_Quinn in Michigan, she'll know what to do with it.....(don't you Mrs_Quinn? LOL) she's very good in sending it all over the world it seems.
Stay warm and safe! your friend Goofie x

Atsutsa

Whoa! Merry Christmas??? Wow - we are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow. My mom's right foot bunion and the weather man say so. So for sure tomorrow will be 2 hour delay or closed everywhere. Winds are rattling around at about 45 MPH gusts to 60 already. Stay warm and dry. Your Friend, Atsutsa

Mrs_Quinn_Eskimo

Impie & Goofie - glad to see the snow we sent you arrived in Holland and you are enjoying it - Little Bit & Reese's ♥♥ PS: feel free to keep it we have had enough this year THINK SPRING!

megabelle2000

I do love the quiet, still quiet of an early morning look at an overnight snow!! Thanks.

gemstone

It does look lovely...and hushed. :)

P.S. Doesn't look like the containers have been installed yet. LOL
