Thanks for your holiday wishes Dollcollector, hope yours were nice too.

The pattern seemed "lost" after I sewed up the seam of the hat, making sort of a tube. I had to make 4 tries, ripping back, until I was able to keep the pattern the next day. Oh well, it was fun & it's warm.

Gaillou

It's interesting how the pattern turned out that way.

Dollcollector

Merry Christmas RebeccaB and hope you have a great New Year. Doll

It is amazing how self striping yarns make a pattern appear. Great colors.

Jabberwackie

Fascinating, Rebecca, what "accidents" can create! Beautiful pattern that was made!

It's beautiful!

RebeccaB

Believe me folks, this color pattern is strictly accidental! I could only do about half the hat last night before my tendinitis flared up... I hope I can continue with the same tension today!

Good question! I'd like to know that too!

Jabberwackie

Nice....how did you calculate that effect from your yarn?
