You'd have to make these smaller, or of finer yarn, for clothes or hats - they're 5" across. I AM going to try making & layering some of crochet thread, for decorating a white shawl.

I thought I'd have a craft room in the back bedroom when I moved here, but then the TV, computer, and desk for paperwork also moved in and, well... I manage but it's mostly a mess! Enjoy your special space, and I hope you'll share pictures of what you've made.

These are so pretty. Would make a nice motif on the side of a hat maybe or on babies' blankets. I empathise re chores versus crafting! I have a lovely new craft room upstairs but I've yet to use it - too busy doing other stuff just now as am trying to remodel a few other rooms at the same time too. I will be so glad when it's all done.

Impie

True, and I don't, but there's no-one to answer to what I do with my time! ;)

RebeccaB

Oh yes, I've heard that saying, but I don't think you're allowed to use it EVERY day. ;))

Impie

I recognize it all too well Rebecca, but when chores don't get finished or I simply don't feel like doing it today I like to think that "tomorrow there's another day"!! ☺☺

RebeccaB

Thank goodness there is currently no snow to shovel! There's no space in my schedule for it, for a few days at least. Doesn't it always seem like whenever you get "caught up" with routine chores, and are considering what to do with your "free" time, SOMETHING breaks down, or happens unexpectedly?? Well, time to stop typing and start washing.... :P

Impie

See, women are really good at multitasking....you crochet lovely flowers and make the pile of dirty dishes pile up in the meantime...good job....LOL

RebeccaB

It IS a good excuse to let the dirty dishes pile up, LOL. My hands are a bit achy after yesterday's marathon, and today I have double chores to makeup for it... :)

Impie

You really can make your flowers grow fast Rebecca...LOL
