I'm catching up.
Wished I had found this tour earlier.
Still lots of fun.
TFS.

That caught my attention, too Toto-a nice touch in a prairie state(turned to corn).

Toto

Wonderful building, I like the use of natural grasses for landscaping.

warbler

Thank you Lorna, I always enjoy your comments!

goingsilver

I love the entrance to this handsome building. Thanks.

warbler

Good point roseheather. I bet they moved into a much larger newer building somewhere off Main Street.
Thats awesome that you did that research, roseheather!

I'm always happy to see the old architecture saved myself Cathy, I really pleases my eye! Thanks

Thanks islandflyer-good to see you!

islandflyer

Indeed nice architecture and nice photo, Dave.

cevas

I'm so glad someone is using this wonderful old building!! Very nice picture Dave.

roseheather

It is not small for banks from the past in small towns. But it would be why it is no longer a bank today.

I just did a search for "Ames, Iowa, Kitchen, Bath &H ": http://ames.patch.com/listings/kitchen-bath-home They design kitchens and baths. : )

warbler

Thanks Sandy.

It seems small for a bank, but it is a nice space, Beekay. Thank you.

I think they sold interior architectural stuff, roseheather. Look, the original night deposit slots are still in the wall to the right of the door..

Here we go, Laura!

laurajane

Yes? what's next to it??

roseheather

It looks like this re-purposed bank has the words kitchen, bath, & h(?) at the lower part in front of that red chest-type item. ; )

Gladstone

I like the architecture of the old buildings. Thanks Dave.

Beekay

That is a handsome entryway

chickiemama
