shazzaannie it's nice this picture brought back good memories. The shop sounds lovely I bet it smells of Lavender too. There are so many fish and chip shops in my area, a lot do kebabs as well which I don't really like. We have fish and chips delivered to our home once a week, in fact we will be having them tomorrow night, probably large cod and chips. It's a shame you haven't many shops in Texas as they are a real treat. Thanks you 48...Sue
Count me in for the fish & chips! Hard to find really good fish & chips here in Texas, but I do so enjoy them very much! Made me hungry Sue. ;-)Thanks!
Mevagissey is one of my favourite places in the country. It has a fabulous shop called lavender Pillow. Solving this bought back happy memories.
Would you believe one year the temperature topped 100F it was too much for me, yet I still moan when it's too cold. At the moment the weather's Spring like but suppose to be getting colder.I like Cornwall but haven't walked around Mevagissey. This looks a real cosy inn and I bet the fish is locally caught. See you in there Denise. Thank you...SueThanks seanymph for the info.
Thank you seanymph:-) I get a bit muddled with all the dukes, earls etc . Denise
Camilla is Duchess of Cornwall, wife of Charles, Prince of Wales
By the way, isn't there a Duchess of Cornwall in the royal family. I can't recall who she is.
Can I have one take away fish and chips? Looks like a cosy place, on second thoughts maybe I should have it here:-) Hi Susan, I did see your set yesterday and loved it as usual. I was so niggly and tired that I just turned the CP off. I know this sounds silly to you but when the temp is over 30Cevery day, it just takes it out of you. Im not the only one, most elderly people feel like this in summer. Well here I am today and I love this Inn in Cornwell. Thanks sue:-))
