grand old house.....lools like it could be restored good pic
Thank you Mary, Pat, Healer. Actually Pg this area is so untapped by me so far I have hardly gone off the highway. The time is coming though. Thanks
Great find Warbler and see what the back roads have to offer when you are looking and not on the interstates.
What a fine house it must have been.
At one time it was a beautiful home. Shame
AH MAN! I WOULD LUV TO LIVE HERE! BEATIFUL HOUSE WHAT A SHAME A CRYING SHAME! IT LOOKS LIKE IT WISHES A FAMILY LIVED IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH IT WAS MY FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at the comments under the barn photo, if you want Lyndee. I just wrote a very brief history of the area from a barn/farm point of view. Its been empty for awhile Gladstone, for sure.
Looks like its been empty for a long time.
Makes you wonder why a person would just walk away from a farm like this. Too sad.
It was someones dream at one time, Foxglove. It appears about 100 acres all around it are still farmed but thats it.
I love old houses and also think it's sad when they're abandoned. Someone, some family, lived here and no one is left to care for it.
No Anitas, I didn't go in, although I wanted to. There was stuff everywhere. But I didn't have permission to be there so I walked on, shot photos and left. I'm going to ask around and see if I can get permission since its not far away. Thanks Chickie.
Wow! A great shot warbler! : )
So sad. Must have been a beautiful house once. Did you go in?
