Oh, Judy, that's awful. I do hope you don't get too sick and that you and your friend get well quickly. I'm not a believer, but I will think good thoughts for you both. Be well :))
Whatnauts, I need to ask a favor. My roommate has been sick with a chest cold (at least I hope that's all it is), and I now have a bad sore throat. With compromised lungs already, I could be developing problems my lungs can't handle well. I don't know if you pray, but if you do, would you? That would mean the world to me. Hope you don't mind me asking. I can deal with pain, but I'm not equipped for what may be coming. I don't mean to alarm you. I was sick not long ago with a sore throat and cold and got over it just fine. It's just that my roommate seems worse than last time--I seem to now be catching whatever she has. Inevitable, I guess because she prepares my food. I'll try to stay in touch so you'll know what's going on. Thanks, my friend.
How are you gonna sleep if I'm yelling at you???? I'm a bit out of practice, but I wouldn't think it would take me too long to get back up to speed. However, thanks for the offer, but I really don't want to yell at you, so I'll have to turn down the invitation :)))
I'm trying Whatnauts. Why don't you come visit and yell at me to sleep. :-)) I sleep too much, then go on a cycle when I can't. It's a puzzle in itself. Thanks for your concern and advice. I'll do what I can, just for you. How's that? I'll say, "Whatnauts wants me to sleep," when I fight sleep.
Seems to me, if you are that tired, your body needs the rest. Best pay attention, as frustrating as that is!!! :)))
Whatnauts, I do appreciate your kind thoughts. It has been a hard week, and I thought today would be good, but I am having a hard time staying awake. Feeling bad requires rest even afterward. I've been sleeping all morning. I wake up, try to do a little and I'm out like a light again. It's weird when I awake up, wondering what I was last doing. I fall asleep making a puzzle, etc. Finally got the next one posted. Yes, I was fortunate to have a man do my shopping for me, but he and his wife, a good friend, are moving to Colorado to be close to his son. I will surely miss them. They left yesterday, so it was bittersweet to have him help me and to see him for the last time. She hasn't been over in a long time; I think she was detaching herself to make the move easier. How's you mom, still better? Hope to be in touch again soon. Glad you're out there, my friend.
Darn it, Judy - you are sure going through a rough patch. How wonderful for you that you are getting your door and didn't even have to go shopping!!! Whenever possible, I pre-shop online when I need to purchase something boring. That way I have a good idea of what I want and who sells it before I step out the door. I hope you are feeling better soon - I'm sending you good thoughts :))) Hugs.
Whatnauts, I didn't go, but someone went in my place, a fellow who knows all about those things. He bought one for me, and I'll get it installed when they call me. It's a good thing, because it saved me lots of money, and I agree--way too boring. I've been having a few more rough days, anyway, so I could not have gone. Darn. Shop 'til you drop would take on new meaning. :-)) Can you imagine the 2 of us having to go shopping for a lawn mower together? You'd have to do the listening, because I couldn't. LOL.
Hi Judy - just wondering if you got out to purchase that new gargage door. I hate that kind of shopping - well, actually I don't really like shopping at any time, but it's worse when it's something boring like garage doors, lawn mowers and most furniture. LOL
I will Whatnauts. I've been dabbling in this and that and enjoying relaxing. Believe it or not, I need a new garage door and may find it necessary to go out tomorrow, because one of the stores is having a 40% off sale--one day only.. We'll see if it can be avoided, but I don't want to miss out on that big of a price drop!
I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. Sounds like you had a rough few days. Take it easy and enjoy your puzzling.
Whatnauts, I feel better already. My 2 new puzzles are doing well, and I've been learning stuff, and experimenting. what a joy! Kim will be out of town the next few days, so I will have more time, but I'll not have her help. My roommate is working outside the home now, so I'm really on my own. I'll probably enjoy having the time to learn a few more things. Who knows? Thanks for all your nice comments and take care and stay warm.
I'm thinking perhaps it is dusk and that's why the colours are muted. Lovely puzzle, Judy. Feel better soon!!!!!!! :)))))))
Mariasha, thanks for smiling. I hope that means you also approve. :-))
Roadworn, thanks for letting me know that you found my puzzle cheerful. It was my hope, but I was a bit worried that I muted the colors too much. I'm so glad you thought otherwise. I haven't been doing well the last several days, but I will get to some of your puzzles. :-)) You have some really great ones beckoning me.
Yes, it makes me smile. : ) It's very creative and cheerful. Thanks for sharing.
