Hi Suzy ! Save a few to throw into fountains while making little wishes.
Have a good number of Canadian pennies, which will now be saved...if for nothing else, than for the value of history.
Hi Lorna. Thank you for your note. I don't think British coins are horrible and I've never actually seen Euro coins. But I agree that sometimes the newer items are not as interesting as the older versions. Yes, in some ways we'll miss our pennies. We should think of something else to do with them .... earrings maybe !?
I guess that many moons ago that stack of coins would have been pretty useful in someones pocket, but I think that though understandable, it is a bit sad that they are now rendered obsolete. I still have some old small denomination coins which were phased out over the years. They were much better looking, if heavier than the horrible ones we have now!
Hi Ank. Thank you for your note. So Europe is also discontinuing the smallest coins. That's interesting. I'm glad you like the puzzle.
Yes most think it is. We can still use our cent, and we also have a twocents coin. But no one use it. everything goes with the 5cent coin. I like the idea of this photo, it's nice.
Hi Trudy. I'll probably save one as a memory. It costs 1.6 cents to make one so the government will save money by getting rid of them.Hi Starlord. Yes, most people think it's a good decision.
Useless stuff, just like our eurocent...
Should I save the ones I have? Probably everyone is doing that.
