I don't know... I'm just a photographer! lolIt's an Amish farm so they obviously have/use horses. Maybe the plow is just a decoration although they normally don't do that sort of stuff so it might still see some use in the future. No tractors on this farm... nor electricity!
This appears to be fencing for horses, 5 wires high with "stays" between the posts to help prevent reaching through the strands, one strand of barbed wire added to the top to discourage the horses from reaching over the fence, all the other strands appear to be smooth wire to prevent cuts to the animals. That is a very old one footed cultivator, or possibly an irrigation ditch digger with a crazy wheel in front to help regulate the depth of the furrow. The item leaning against the fence, i've seen before but i don't recall what it's use was. The left hand field is probably pasture, while the right hand field looks to be used for hay, but then again, I'm probably wrong on all issues, what say?????
