Thanks Edie, you are a little star yourself. :o)
Well aren't you the clever one Kermee. You're absolutely right. First try 9 seconds then 7 on the second try. Never knew that. Thanks :-))))
It's easier if you make your browser window smaller. Just grab the corner and make it smaller.
I've tried many times to add a star ladyC but am stuck at 10. For some reason smaller pieces always do me in :-))))
Yes he does but all the other pics of him would have been too obvious. Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como was born 18 May 1912 so it is an oldie but goodie. He died 12 May 2001 :o)
Thanks LadyC. Perry looks like a teenager in this photo.
Welcome back Gulliver :o)
You are welcome Starlord (my apologies for a late response - have just returned from some splendid festive hospitality.Morning Aggie, glad you liked my choice.pdevredis so pleased I evoked some wonderful childhood memories :)))
Perry Como's Christmas specials are a wonderful part of my childhood memories....... His voice, sung or spoken, was always so gentle and soothing and warming..... :))))))
A very good day to all and especially to Cbmuller.Welcome in the EHoF :-)I honestly have to say I didn't know Perry Como at this ageThanks to Lady C for keeping the flame burning
It honestly makes you wonder how anyone could get away with it. Do they have to 'audition' for the job? And what ever happened to 'security checks'? I scratch me fez...........
LoL Mister Don
What about that deaf sign language. People were suspicious when he said 'Nissan Main Dealer'
Morning all - congratulations Rod and cbmuller
very good Neville - habit - LoL
... and you are a winner cbmuller - you are now in the exclusive EHoF well done :)))
And thanks Lady C, we're off out now!
Rod said thanks, Neville, and it will be the longest 30 hours of your life! But enjoy! (the retirement, that is) - you have another 30 years to look forward to!
Yea...it's great to be named a winner!
Lol, lady c. I'm trying to get out of the habit, as the retiring nun was heard to say. Accordion to harmonica, I'm done for the evening (Sissel had a hand in this). Gawd we're trying, aren't we.....
Well done to cbmuller on picking Perry Como - brilliant. And congrats to Rod on his retirement today. Nev is but six calendar days behind you, pal, with just 30 hours of work to go.
You were on the right track Neville ... and you didn't say (I haven't got a clue) once :o)
And congratulations Rod on your retirement - enjoy ...... :)))))
It is Perry Como cbmuller - very well done and out of his extensive repertoire, I’ve got Magic Moments for you, which, you will be singing allllll day guaranteed.Congratulations you have also entered the Eternal Hall of Fame .. woo hoo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ND3oghPL5M
Oh, sorry, not Leonard Cohen. I have a feeling this man has been on before, hasn't he Lady C?
I have been sent for I am a partial clue.
A young Perry COmo!
I think you could be right, Neville? Before I go for the night, Rod retired today so we're going to our favourite French restaurant to celebrate with a bottle of bubbly - see, Neville, doesn't hurt at all! I'll have to join him up to Jigidi then he won't keep using my avatar (he does the same on Facebook!)
Thanks Neville, but, alas, not Leonard Cohen either today :)))))) good guess though ....
Looks like Leonard Cohen, but I think he's been on before.
Sorry, Rod, as two of the most handsome gentlemen on Jigidi, I think it imperative that Neville stays sober, or there might be repercussions.
oooooo RJ, close but .... sorreee not Paul this morning ...
Hey Neville,hi, missed you! Thanks for the compliment ....
Of course, Lady C, you do realise it was Rod who came up with LB and did the puzzle in 35! I think it might be Paul Anka.
Not me!! Jan.
To two of the most beautiful women on Jigidi, does it really matter....... Good morning/evening everyone.
Hi Rod, sorry it isn't Leonard, not today but good guess ....
Good morning each. Rod here. I am being coached into what to say. (Jan) thinks it is Leonard Berstein. I don't, particularly.
Good morning world, I am standing in for Starlord today and I have a very easy one for you.
