Such Beautiful Bluebonnets

I like this photo, Tex! I see the horse is munching the grass. Do they also eat the Bluebonnets? (Oops, I just read down and saw from Warbler that they don't eat them.) I learned something....

They are very good for the earth, collect lots of nitrogen!! Those fields must be fabulous to grow other crops on!! Thanks so very much tex!!

I don't know if they do or not. I think they might be toxic, but you always see the cattle & horses grazing in those fields, so it would be hard for them not to ingest some. Interesting. Nothing is prettier than a whole field of these. I wish everyone could see it in person, they're breathtaking.

Great photo. Horses or cows don't eat them, do they-it seems like I remember they aren't good for animals. Really nice colors combo, Tex!
