Hi Oddio -- just discovered this comment of yours -- sorry I didn't see it before!
Thank you! You're right -- this is the view when you walk down in the backyard. So nice that you have a river nearby, too! So now that it's several days since you got your tackle box out, -- did you go fishing???
Oh, my, PLG. You have this scene right close by, eh? I have returned to your photo several times, and finally decided to get out the old tackle box to see what in there is worth cleaning up. It's been toooo long! And we have a decent river running thru the middle of town!
Hi Yellowgal -- sorry I didn't get back here sooner. Ummm, good question. I think my favorite is called "Stillness Speaks." It was my introduction to him.
Laurajane, this is the Menominee River. The bluff side is Upper Michigan, and where I was standing is Wisconsin. This is where I live in Niagara, Wisconsin.
So nice! Where is this, Patti?
Patti, thanks for the info about Eckhart Tolle. I hadn't read any of hs books, so I looked him up online. Then I realized I'd seen him a few times on Oprah. Which of his books would you recommend as a newbie?
Thanks, Pat -- I'll join you!
Thanks, Robbie -- Glad you liked it.
Thanks,Roseheather -- I heard them twittering this evening. The loudest one was a kingfisher. Actually saw him hover over the water. :)
A beautiful river scene. I could imagine the twitter of birds and the sound of the water as it moves along. Thank you for posting this.
So serene looking, thanks PLG.
Just relaxing on the bank
Thank you, Ank!
You are rich, having such a view.
And you did it again, a great shot.
That would be perfect, Oddio. :)
...a small boat drifting with the current or just sitting on the bank...
Me too, Yellowgal! Why are we so sure that we have to always think about what's next? (Eckhart Tolle is helpful along those lines. Have you read him?) Glad you liked the puzzle!
For me, never too many sunny days; this is a delightful scene, Patti. Sometimes it does take discipline for me to forget about planning dinner (for example), and just spend time daydreaming/ or not thinking at all ! :)))
Superb! just superb! Thank you Patti.
Suzy -- I agree!!!
Deb -- thank you! That's what I thought when I looked out at it this evening.
Celeste -- Thank you! :)
PG -- Thank you and I feel the same way. :)
TS -- Thank you. -- Ha! We'll have to compare notes as we go along. Not sure which is better!
Really nice photo, PLG. We'll fondly remember this in a few months when you guys are snowed in! We, on the other hand, will still probably be at 100 degrees all winter!!! Thanks for the jig.
Lovely shot Patti and being out in the sun is never a waste but I love to squander the time looking and wondering.
Great photo PLG
Smiles :) thanks
wow Patti, that's gorgeous!
Never a sunny hour and sunny day is wasted.
