Thank you, Ank. The city will only prune ( hack sections off !!) a tree if it is threatening a power line. This one isn't. Anyway, I like the trees and I like my treehouse balcony!! Thank you, Lorna and JC. Yes, I think it's a maple. There is also a wild walnut tree right beside it. I posted a picture of them back on Oct 13 looking in the same direction. They provide lots of privacy and the balcony above me protects mine a bit.Hi Suzy! Such an interesting comment!!! But ... all your comments are interesting ... and much appreciated ! :)
You live in a magical land!
Nice, Cathy! I bet this maple? gives you good shade and a little bit of privacy. Right?
What kind of tree is it Cathy? I hope it is worthy of its power to obscure the good view!
Wow what a view. Lovely. But is it not possible that the tree will be pruned? Ask the owner. The city........howdoyoucallthat.
Hi zchenoa. Nice to meet you! Thank you for your comment.
Lucky you! I hope you never stop appreciating it!
In the winter I can see a tiny bit of Burrard Inlet, Stanley Park and Vancouver. In the summer I can pretend I live in a tree!
