Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I don't have a clue how this weird puzzle evolved; I was playing with one of the drawing tools, and voila! Then, I couldn't believe my eyes: one of the attendees grabbed, and hung onto, the railing for dear life, turned yellow, and refused to follow his companions into the Neverland Ball. Awww! Please give him some encouragement...perhaps by sending chocolate! Such a needy little fella. Have a great day, my friends, enjoy the solve, and try to behave. Sending hugs, smiles and prayers!

Hi, Izna. Thanks so much for your comment, and I'm so happy to know that you like my puzzle. I'm sorry to hear about your knees, and I know the Lord will lead you, if you keep seeking His guidance. I will pray for you also. When I asked my doctor about moving for health reasons, he said that it isn't always a good idea, because some people find it so hard to adjust that they feel worse physically. I chose not to move at that time, but I did move later when I was ready, and it did help some. Iust keep praying, because God wants what is best for you, so that you may enjoy life and enjoy Him. Take care and know that you can trust Him.

This puzzle was awesome..I have to down size to a one story my knees are bad...my husband wants to go to Florida..i pray to the Lord that he will lead us where we are supposed to go???

Hi Judy,

When my husband is going to retire is a big question and when I'm being unreasonable, I get mad at him. He doesn't deserve that but sometimes I'm irrational and not very nice at that. He has the best job of his life and I really, and truly, don't want him to retire until he's ready. He's 6 years younger than I am and that's what happens when you rob the cradle. LOL I have scoliosis and my right hip is higher than the left hip. I also have problems with my left foot which can be corrected by fusing the bones. A brace could help but my flat feet would not be able to stand what goes under the foot with the brace. I still get around fairly well but I know each year my limitations will get worse. If I'm in a large airport, walking is very difficult. I'm going to be 69 shortly. We are canoers, campers, and hikers. We bought this property because of these loves. The property is beautiful but we do have to build a house so we are still at least 2 years away. We built a large garage and call it our camp since it has a showered bath.

I do like the thrills of fear since roller coasters were a true love along with downhill skiing. Those days are long gone but the memories will be with me forever. Life is all about making memories each and every day.

HeyJudeNM

Oh, Joanne, my little yellow critter will be so very happy when he receives the chocolate covered strawberry, and it just might cause him to let go and face his fear. You sure do have a way with critters, and this one is on the brink. His poor hands are so very tired, so I'm sure your gift Iwill be the one to set him free. Oh, yeah!! As for us, I think adventure seeking brains can still have great fun in their rocking chair bodies. Notice I didn't use the word "thrill," because I don't like something that scares me half to death. Adventures are tamer, I hope.

As for the first property you almost bought, I'm so glad you walked away. I believe that feeling was the Holy Spirit looking after you by giving you doubts about it. That's just me. I'm so glad you walked away, and the new property sounds ideal, especially the freshwater lake in the Maine woods. Wow! I just keep thinking about the cold weather, but that's just me, also. It sounds ideal. How many years before your husband retires? I know you'll enjoy it thereAlso, how limited are you physically? and will make lots of new critter friends. Glad you have the goldfinch where you are now. How pretty it sounds. Enjoy!! I'll be thinking about how idyllic your new property and home sound. Thanks so much for letting me know.

Hi Judy, This was a really fun puzzle as well as your little story. I'm sending through a chocolate covered strawberry to tempt that little yellow guy, YUM. Keep fooling around like that so you can keep all of us busy and out of trouble. Oh, Oh, I'm always in trouble but usually it's my body that gets broke. My favorite saying: I maybe old but I'm never ever going to grow up. That saying goes along with my thrill seeking brain, but rocking chair body. Here's some hugs for you ((((( ))))).

Goldfinch (lots of them in my yard, so pretty), We almost purchased property under an HOA and we walked away shaking our heads because it just didn't feel right. You nailed it for the crazy reasons you mentioned. We finally decided to move to 19 acres in the woods on a freshwater lake in Maine when my husband retires. Critters make the best neighbors. They all get along quite well and are so entertaining.

potatomum66

hahaha! That story made me laugh, goldfinch!!!! :)))))

HeyJudeNM

Goldfinch, it sounds like you have some great neighbors--at least the other two women who moved in at the same time as you. I'm glad you can enjoy one another's company. As for the leash story, that's quite funny. I think I would have been laughing out of control when she was told a person had to be at the other end. Now, that is funny. Thanks for sharing, and I hope the complaints stop soon! Please enjoy life and laugh at every opportunity. Say hi to your friends for me and take care.

goldfinch

Actually, I didn't set out to annoy the neighbors and the stories are (mostly) not funny. Suffice it to say that three of us middle aged women moved in at about the same time and none of us had lived in an HOA situation before. For various and sundry silly reasons, one or the other of us got a reprimand every week until it really became a joke to us.

Several of the reprimands were to the 80 yo lady; one of us three. She is very gentle, quiet, and unassuming, but was allowing her dog to go outside loose. Finally they told her face-to-face that her dog MUST be on a leash when she was outside. The next day, there went Biscuit (the Corgi), wandering the edge of the woods, trailing her leash. The next reprimand, she was informed that a PERSON was required to be at the other end of the leash.

HeyJudeNM

Thanks, Potatomum. Time is of the essence!!!! Perhaps a convenience store, only if that's convenient for you. :-D

potatomum66

I'd gathered more chocolate, just in case, but, sorry to say I don't seem to have it lying around any more! I'll have to go on another hunt! I sure don't want to leave him hanging!!!

HeyJudeNM

Well, Goldfinch, I do believe you are my kind of person! I wonder what you are doing when you are not doing an engaging puzzle! All I can surmise is that it's LOUD. I never knew creating puzzles would be a public service to your neighborhood, and can't imagine why either. You are too funny, but I am glad you liked the puzzle. It will be awhile before I attempt one in uncharted waters again, but I will think of you when I do. Thanks so much for the fun you caused me to have!

HeyJudeNM

Thank you Potatomum. I'm so glad you came to his rescue!! He actually let go of the railing (with only one hand sorry to say) in order to eat the chocolate. If you send twice as much, perhaps he will let go altogether. I sorta promise I won't eat any!

goldfinch

I LOVED this puzzle!!!! On the other hand, behaving is not part of my repertoire. However, the neighbors noticed how quiet I was while working on this puzzle so they requested that you grab the drawing tools again and see what you could do. They said it would be a public service but I can't imagine to what they were referring........

potatomum66

OK - am heading out to round up some more chocolate!!

HeyJudeNM

Hi Spud woman. I guess I'll have to wait on the long story of your username, but please keep me in mind. I'm curious! Music is nice, but he's asking for much more chocolate. Perhaps then he'll let go and have fun as planned. Hmmm....

HeyJudeNM

Thanks so much, Bendy. How very kind of you, and thanks for stopping by. I think this may be your first comment to me, so welcome and hope to see you again.

potatomum66

Hmm. Chocolate doesn't seem to have done it. :-/
Maybe I'll try some quiet music....

Great puzzle-do some more
