Hello Hanne. Yes, it is. Had we known what variety it was, we would not have dug it up. But it was small and nicely shaped and best of all, in a space we could work the bulldozer.

Hi Gail, Jo and Marie. Thanks. It is a lovely tree. We dug it up with a bulldozer in our back woods and planted it here in '71. They only have a life expectancy of 30-50 years, unlike the live oaks. So it is past middle age, already 42. He has kept it healthy and pretty.
