Irena pro každou Black kakadu v Austrálii, tam by byl asi padesát bílých. Oni nejsou příliš časté. ♥♥♥

Irena, for every Black Cockatoo in Australia, there would be about fifty White ones. They are not very common. ♥♥♥

Janet, it's been many years since I've seen a Black Cockatoo in the wild. They flew in to Sydney from western New South Wales during the drought years of the '90s, looking for water.
Gee you've got good eyes. Never once did Marge or I notice the feather on the lower right of the base. Well done. ♥♥♥

Should have said "fly over here" as they often fly over our house and garden.
I loved the feather too on the base. ♥

I love this one and I love seeing the Black Cockatoos fly over there. They have a very distinctive call and usually fly in a small flock and continually call to each other. We had seven Red Tailed ones fly over just a few days ago. Julian saw some of the Yellow Tailed ones in a tree a few weeks back and rushed inside the camera but they'd gone. They are very shy birds. They come to our district in summer to breed and like most parrots they breed in holes in trees.
Thanks and hugs Marge and Nev. ♥♥♥
