I just love this series you've been doing! :)))
Hot tea is wonderful - a really good way to warm up!
Thanks, Katie, happy that you like the butterflies. Our temperature at the moment is 21 Fahrenheit with a wind chill of 5 fahrenheit. Just got home from bingo and even walking half a block from the bus stop was brutal for me, very hard on the lungs. I'm home now, sipping on a cup of tea and relaxing with Jigidi. :-)
Oooh! These are so ethereal and beautiful Barb! My temp just got up to 12 with a wind chill of 3 above - 7 hours after you! But the sun is out, which makes it easier to have a better attitude about the deep freeze.
Yes, Mommy, I will wear a scarf over nose and mouth. LOL! Actually, when I go out in weather like this, whether by bus or taxi, I do take the precaution of bundling up and making sure the scarf goes where it should. I think this will be a bus day although I may weaken later this morning when it's time to head out, and take a taxi instead. We'll see. I do appreciate your concern, Ardy, thanks. :-)Hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm sure you know but the Mother Hen in me says: If you go out today be sure to use a scarf to cover your nose and mouth so that cold air doesn't get to your lungs. Better to stay in but you missed your Bingo on Wednesday so I hope you can get out today. Taxi again, maybe?
Good morning to you, Ardy. I expected this to be a little more difficult as well with their delicate colours. I've been trying to post at least one 36 piece puzzle (sometimes 2) a day. I figure some of the solvers need a wee break from doing the much larger puzzles. I have done a few of Star's puzzles although she doesn't post regularly. They are lovely. I haven't done hers today yet but will when I finish this. One thing I noticed is that in the thumb nail, hers and June's look remarkably similar in style. In fact, I almost called her 'June' the last time I solved one of hers and just caught myself in time. :-)Very cold today ... at the moment the wind chill is 3 fahrenheit. Brrrrrr!
Good morning, Barb. Love the crystal butterflies. I thought they would be more difficult than they were. Probably because you were so sweet to make them in 36 pieces rather than 81. Thanks, Barb. Are you acquainted with Starshine? To me she is the Queen of Kaleido puzzles. She doesn't post very often but when she does it's a beauty. She has a new one up today. Check it out if you haven't already.
