Looks cozy to me. That's my kind of dish---I hate my food to touch. I know, that's weird of me, but what can I say. Thanks for sharing a fun puzzle.
Fun.... everything right out of the 1950s. The nicknacks, lamps, sofa cover, red handled knifes/forks (my mom had), and the melamine dishes!
Glad you had fun with it, ladies!
This looks just like the dining area in my grandparents Trailer Home back in the 1950's. From the blond wooden panels to the dining table that came out of the hole in the floor to turn the seating benches into sofas for watching a 12 " TV. Those two swing down cupboards above the loaded nic nac shelves held tons of stuff, as did hidden boxes/chests below the padded cushions and behind the table. Even the two side lights were much the same as theirs, only their rear view window was more expansive. What a memory this held for me. Thanks.
Looks like the inside of a small travel trailer (U.S.) or a "caravan" in some other countries. It does look like there's a vehicle parked outside of the small window. Vintage "Airstream" or "Avignon" travel trailers are in much demand here...as much for their durability as their character! Nice puzzle, Quartina...even if I'm wrong. Carole
