Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Taken several years ago, I think on Memorial Day. I couldn't read the words, so didn't know it was backwards til I got home. I guess the pilot assumed everyone would be on the other side of town and not wandering along a deserted beach. . . I guess everyone else WAS on the other side of town; they certainly weren't anywhere near me.

Just a few little wisps of cloud, Lunie.

Patti, the tow line is so light you can't see it unless you know it is there. It looks like somebody just stuck a label onto the sky! LOL.

What a funny sight! :)

Dilubreuer

with a nice blue sky on the background...

Not terribly exciting Janet. But it does fit the theme. Hugs

Not something we ever see in our little town, but of course they do in cities. Thanks and hugs Jacki.

Oddly, they aren't here very often, 6toedcats -- or at least I don't see them. I do see and hear jets and helicopters from what used to be Otis Air Force Base and now is called something else and mostly has to do with the Coast Guard. I know they do Search and Rescue training with helicopters in the the waters between here and Martha's Vineyard.

Thanks Suzy. ♡

Agreed, Ardy. the Gecko is cute. He probably timed his flight to match that of the Martha's Vineyard ferry so he could catch all the rich folk going over for a day or a weekend. ♡hugs

Great photo and LOVE your description of taking the photo, Jacki!

6toedcats

I see & hear these all the time, especially on the weekends. They take off and land from the little airport downtown, fly to the beaches and then back and forth along the coast, and then head back downtown to switch banners. I'm closer to the beach end & they usually take the same route. Some sound much "safer" than others, so I'm glad they're usually not right over head. :-)

A Geigo ad. I liked that little gecko that was their spokesperson. Maybe there was a parade or some other festivity going on elsewhere. Unusual for the beach to be deserted on Memorial Day. Good theme puzzle, Jacki. Thanks. Miserable day here. Dried, warmed and protected ♥Hugs♥
