Now I gaze into dripping Pacific Northwest rainforest after 90 dry summer days & scan marine fogs & Canada as I drive along the Strait of Juan de Fuca to our twin villages of Sekiu & Clallam Bay, WA. Last Salmon Season of the year is upon us.
I'm sitting here, contemplating the Atlantic from the other side; thank you for the great view.
Remember how the cold, mighty sea changed from March thru April to summer May revealing beaches as headland winds grew warm. Loved those 6 months im Ericeira as a maid in a pension when I was 18, eating seafood caught B4 dawn & sold off boats in the harbor + fresh veggies from the inland fields walking thru the daily market. Lost a lot of over-cooked London lbs.
